What we actually hand back

This is a Hartmann station on a Merritt Island property. Every part of it is named below, because the difference between a system that lasts and one that does not is almost never the sprinkler heads.

Measured, not advertised

Irrigation is a hydraulics problem before it is a lawn problem.

Pressure, coverage and where the water comes from decide whether a system is worth owning. Those are the only numbers on this page, and every one of them comes off a job we have actually done or a figure the county publishes.

Forty five years on the same water, the same clay and sand, and the same reuse grid. We work with and are referred by city water departments.

Five lines of work

What Hartmann installs and keeps running

Each of these has its own page, because a sprinkler repair and a pumping station rebuild are not the same conversation and should not be sold as if they were.

Jobs, with names on them

The same technicians keep getting asked for by name.

Chuck runs most of the diagnostic work and is named in six of the nine reviews Hartmann has published. Dustin and Eric are out on the same trucks, and Tammy is who picks up the phone. These are their customers, in their own words.

True professionals. By far the best irrigation company I've ever hired. They rerouted my irrigation lines around my new paver patio with expert precision. Chuck who we request to fix the occassional issue thinks out of the box and always leaves things better than before.

28 years in home and many times have needed sprinkler pump repairs. Chuck was the absolute best. Great job. You have a lifetime customer.

No. Estimates on installation and new systems are free, and have been for as long as we have been doing this. Call (321) 454-3314 and we will set a time to walk the property.

Hunter, Rain Bird and Toro. They are named on the quote on purpose, because parts for those three are still going to be on a shelf in ten years when a head or a valve needs replacing.

Yes. We set up reclaimed-water irrigation for Brevard County residents, which takes the demand off potable and ground water. Customers on reuse save approximately 2,000 gallons of potable water a month once they are connected to the city system.

Both. We re-build existing stations and install new ones, for potable water, irrigation, boosting and water reuse, and new timers and controls go in as part of the work so the station runs on a schedule.

Between 30 and 50 percent less water than conventional irrigation. Emitters put water at the root instead of throwing it through the air, so nothing is lost to evaporation and the weeds between the plants never get watered.

A dry corner, a zone that will not shut off, a pump that starts and stops, or a property with nothing in the ground yet. The estimate is free either way, and you will be talking to the same company that has been doing this out of 685 Fern Dr. in Merritt Island since 1980.
